Web Development Process

The time to create your new or updated site will vary depending on the complexity and availability of meetings between developer and client. Typical time to completion ranges from several weeks to months depending on the size and nature of the site. During our proposal phase we will provide you with an estimation of time to do the work.

Phase 1: Meet with Client
We meet with you face to face in order to gather information about your organization and/or business to better understand the goals that you want to achieve with your new or updated website.

Phase 2: Proposal & Contract
We will prepare a proposal based on the information that we have gathered from Phase 1 meeting with the client. Once the proposal has been accepted, we will implement a contract for the project that will include all information about the project scope and pricing. Upon execution of the contract, we collect the deposit for the work and begin the next phase.

Phase 3: Design
We generate a design based on our initial meeting. This will typically include a home page and secondary page layout for the website.

Phase 4: Modifications
We work closely with the client in order to create the overall 'look and feel' of the site. Once the design is complete, the client will sign-off on the final design.

Phase 5: Development
We create the website structure (back-end, navigation, forms, etc.) and upload it to our test server in order for the client to review. Once the site is accepted, the client will sign-off in order to go live.

Phase 6: Launch (Go Live!)
We upload your completed website to our live server for the world to see.

Phase 7: Web Maintainance
We will continually support the website such as doing content updates, image revisions, form updates, etc. when required by the client at an hourly based fee.
